- Firstly, I was a patron of the store in Martinsburg specifically for many years. Recently, there was a merge with the Hagerstown store, and prior to that I always had a wonderful experience. This merge, however, brought some seriously uptight and often rude employees to this store. During the merge, they were offering a discount to Hagerstown residents on FB. When I saw this post, I commented and asked if something might be offered for frequent customers, to which they surprisingly obliged to. At this time, I did not know that this code would not work on pills, which is what I shop most. They stated it did not apply to pills since they were already discounted. Fair enough, but then the employee says that if I sign up for their text alerts that I'll get a discount on my next order. Brought the code into the store knowing full and well it probably wouldn't apply to which I was correct. No problem, even tho I wasn't informed that this code would also not work for pills. Fast forward a few weeks and I realize that I had not received punches for my last purchase. It's a reward card where after so many punches you receive a free one (of lesser value of course). By this time, I'm beginning to recognize certain employees faces, and this specific employee says that she doesn't remember me, therefore no punches (this relates later). Now, it's really starting to grate my nerves how I feel like I'm being treated here. Fast forward a few more weeks, and a few more purchases, I come in and this same employee says that I had walked out without paying for a bill. She pulls out this receipt that had absolutely no connection to me other than it was a purchase for pills. No name, no signature, no last 4. I was willing to own up to this regardless, but then I started looking through my statements. There was not a single transaction or even an authorization for this purchase. Even worse, I had stopped several times afterwards and purchased quite a few things, but not a word from anyone. Now I feel like I'm being accused, so I go back in and ask how they can possibly make the connection that it was my purchase, to which she responds, "I'm good with faces", What!? This is the same employee that said she didn't remember me when they had missed punches on my card. I just leave. I'm pretty upset at this point obviously because of the interaction I just had, but also that it was my store to get male enhancement pills. So, I message them on Facebook to let my feelings out, and I actually got a response from who I believe is the manager. She's obviously been informed at this point, and she proceeds to tell me how I've been harassing them to try and get free pills. I could not believe any of this was happening! I liked the store and I shopped there often. I simply told her that's fine, and that I would never step foot in there again. I've kept my promise so far, but I am far from happy with the whole situation, and it makes me furious every time I think about it. Hence this post.
- This is a very nice store and it's laid out very well. And a very friendly and helpful staff. My only problem is you're going to pay a lot for whatever it is that you're looking for. I bought something at this store. Then came home and was looking up information on it and found out that Amazon sold it for less then half the price. I paid 149 and Amazon sold the item for $61 it was a big difference. They have a no return policy on many items. My suggestion is if you're looking for something check out other prices elsewhere before buying here.. It was a lesson well learned. But all in all it is a great store.
