- This place needs to innovate or it's going to go out of business. There's a lot of people on the sniffies app talking about how they get chased out after putting money in the machines. If you're going to work in this line of business you have to create something that will allow people to want to come back instead of discouraging them through business practices that make them feel unwelcome or like they're some sort of criminal in an industry that already has a lot of shame around it. People don't come here for that. What's really sad is this is the only place around here like this. Many comments talking about the owners chasing people away from the parking lot which if they leaned into it they could actually act as shepherds for people coming to this business for exactly what they're looking for and provide a shame and judgment free way of taking what is obvious for their patrons and charged for it. People are willing to pay you just have to make your business to take advantage of that. APV up north has done that. You basically have to buy $20 worth of Monopoly money that you feed the machines with. you're also not allowed to go back there until you have bought at least $20 worth. So every person that walks in is guaranteed to give $20 to the business. I kind of feel like the people that own this place have owned it for a long time, probably even own the building. If you want a single valuable piece of information: hire a young LGBT person to manage this place and all for their suggestions. You might just end up making a whole lot of money.
- Considering the clientele are almost exclusively cruising for action, there could be a bit more creativity put into the booths. While I didn't care for the no door situation it turned out to be a saving grace. Lack of serious air ventilation can turn an encounter into sweaty fail. Also I never had to think about looking behind me since you can see the reflection in the screen and they can see you without having to enter your space. The toy selection was hit and miss, a lot of low quality toys at above market price while the accessories were decently varied and value priced to sell. The staff was kind and helpful and seemed the type that appreciates not having their time wasted with questions that are not worth asking in the first place. I like his kind of grumpy, it is honest.
