- Seth was very helpful and educated in making product recommendations. He was spot on and I’m happy with what I bought. Also, I got 2 adorable shirts that I’ve already gotten multiple complements on. High quality fabric, with drag designs. Definitely stop in here for some cute new things, for inside AND outside of the bedroom! (Then definitely stop by Buddy’s next door, which is definitely the coolest bar / restaurant in Houston).
- Just want to save people time – the pictures are NOT of this place. They moved and now it's the size of a closet (literally 15' x 30'). It's not a super center as the name suggests. Drove 20 min across town. What a waste of time. *reply to the owner comment below* Thanks for the reply! I'm sure you deal with rude people often given the area but hey, if you couldn't afford to stay in the other space due to lack of interest in your business I totally understand. Size isn't everything, but when the selection you have is small enough to fit in my kitchen, maybe it's time to rethink your business plan? I've adjusted my rating to reflect the tone of your reply. Happy pride!
- After going to Hamburger Mary's for a show then making a purchase at the Hollywood Super Center (Suite C). The red headed clerk had my vehicle towed and cared less that it happened. The company needs to revisit their customer standards and employees behavior. I did retrieve my receipt from that day after paying over $300.
- Some changes have come to this center. There are new bars. Hamburger Mary's is gone and there is a new classy bar there called KiKi.
- Before I I give my account of my experience which is actually a warning let’s talk about the area. Montrose is one of the most progressive and accepting parts of Houston. With that being said…aside from the fact that this place is located next to some bar people probably regard highly because its a safe place to bl0w a stranger in the bathroom then return to the outskirts of Houston like nothing ever happened, the odds of you getting robbed or attacked by a mentally unstable homeless person is just as likely as the odds of you meeting a minimum of 3 people to offer you m3+h which are extremely high odds. The parking situation is trash, if you’re inside for 3 minutes on a Saturday night literally then prepare to get p!$$ed off by the city of Houston. It seems like a conflict of interest to have two separate businesses and accommodations for only 1 and whatever you do don’t come alone bc IT IS r@?ey. Now…For my experience. I went in to get a few items after getting off of work. 5am-9pm, I did a double, therefore I couldn’t make it in earlier. This particular day I come in the black guy at the register says hurry up we’re about to close. Ok? Mind you, I had obligations the next few weeks so I wouldn’t have time to come back and get what I needed earlier in addition to the fact that this store is the only store in Houston that sold what I needed. Its late, I understand its 30-45 minutes to closing but just know I did a lot to get over there 2 hours in advance while fighting traffic. I come in I get what I’m looking for I come to the register after he told me to hurry up. He inputs the total into the system and tosses the scanner and says hurry up its gonna turn red. I’m like excuse me? I’m over it just wanna get my things which were $40 per the tags on the display case which tbh could probably do a lot for this place. While I’m checking out the total rings to about $53 I’m hesitant because I wanna know why did the price jump $13 after tax. This man bucks his eyes, sticks his neck out, and throws both of his hands in the direction of the payment system like I wasn’t moving fast enough and I needed to hurry t f up. At that point I asked him to remove one of the items because I was getting ready to pay $35 for an item that was on the floor as $25. Texas’ sales tax is not that high. He picks up the pos system, rolls his eyes, and slams the system back on the counter again. To that point I told him to void the transaction and I felt disrespected.
