- I bought a pair of swim shorts at the Big Ol Queer Market, I was another vendor. I asked if they were unisex, and he said yes. I was wearing a romper and asked if I could pull the shorts on over it to make sure they fit. (I was really skeptical they would fit). He said his boss wouldn’t allow that. I bought a 3X with the seller’s advice, and it won’t even go over my hips! I’m a size 16, I typically wear an XL! If they were sized for men, or something, please say that! It’s why I asked if women also bought them. They were $111. For what it’s worth, the quality is great, but that doesn’t help if I can’t fit in them. He said I could come back to the store to exchange if they didn’t fit, but I’d need like a 5x or 6x if we’re going by the weird sizing! And I really don’t want to drive downtown to do that. So I’m meticulously ripping the seams of the mesh out and hoping it helps, otherwise I’ll give them to my friend who wears an XS.
