- The shop overall is quite nice. Having a collection of clothing, movies, gag gifts, couples things (massage oils, etc.), and adult toys. The staff is always nice and helpful without being over your shoulder, and the clientele seems to be mostly normal and sane: not always the case with adult shops. Selection, especially as it comes to toys, is better than expected for a small local shop, having a little something for every want. It's not in the level of, say, Romantix in Lincoln, but it's still far better than I expected. The major negative: prices. Looking at some items from Lelo and We-Vibe, the markup from even MSRP is near or above 100% (good example, the We-Vibe Chorus is MSRP of $165, for sale in the shop at $310). This goes for most hard goods: toys, lubes, massage oil, etc. This is always the struggle with their shop. If I need or want something today, I'll be paying twice as much for the privilege. If I shop online for a far cheaper price (and when you get into the higher end brands of toys, 100% more can mean a couple hundred dollars), I'm not supporting a local shop, helping them stay in business and perhaps position themselves to lower prices and increase selection. Either the owners need to get a better distribution deal so they don't have to pass so much cost on, or they need to lower the profit per sale to encourage more overall sales. All in all, worth a stop for a nice shop with good staff and decent product selection. Just make sure to check online prices to make sure that you are ok with lying a premium to not wait 2 days for shipping.
