• As someone who works in fashion and is known for providing excellent bra-fittings at my store, I often referred people to this shop since they carry some of my favorite brands for fuller busts. That is why I was so excited to visit this store yesterday, early afternoon, in person and get the full experience. However, this was the most disheartening visit I could have had. Upon walking in, I let the associate know I was interested in buying a bra and provided the names of the bras I currently love, Panache and Elomi. And while appearing friendly, she insisted on doing a bra fitting, of which she confirmed I wear the size I currently had on 40J (UK) or 40M (US). I asked her if I could let her know what I was looking for, she refused and said she knew what she was doing and this was their system. She proceeded to bring a number of bras that did not fit my shape. Many of which went beyond sister-sizing, ranging from my size to 42GG. I actively showed her was was ill-fitting on each bra, as she insisted on staying in the fitting room with me while I tried them on. She continously placed her hand in each bra I was trying on to adjust my breast-tissue and underwire. She then tried to gaslight me by saying that's "how it is supposed to fit" as I actively had spillage out from above and below. Then in the course of standing and breathing for a few seconds while looking at the bra, it of course would slide and she would reach her hand in again and tell me I "just needed to adjust". Which was unreasonable, because I will not be adjusting every five breaths for the life of my bra. In the end I opted out of buying the one bra they had in my size for three reasons: I already own a number of them in different colors, the price was approximately the same price if not higher than what I could find online and honestly I didn't want to provide the commission to someone who wouldn't listen. As a final note, I would like to mention that when someone came in after me and was being fitted by someone else, they had the decency to let her try on the bras and private. So if you do go, avoid the woman with the straight black hair.
• Carrie at Allure helped me find bras that fit perfectly — I ended up buying four! Frustrated for years that I could get a good fit other stores I won’t name. I was recently told about Allure from a friend. I was way off on size that it was unbelievable, for years I was wearing the wrong size. Since the fitting, I’ve been rotating between three different styles to see which one I like best and love them all. Today, while washing the new ones, I put on an old bra and wow… what a difference. After a bit in the new bras the old one just doesn’t put the girls where they should be. I’ll never go back to the old ones. Carrie knew exactly what I needed to minimize my size and maximize my budget. She was incredibly knowledgeable and kind, and I felt comfortable with every adjustment she made. I highly recommend visiting Carrie at Allure for a professional bra fitting if you’re tired of dealing with an ill-fitting bra.
• Highly recommend! I’ve been bra shopping since I was 13, and it has never gone well. Target and Victoria’s Secret? Nope. A good bra can change your outfit, your back pain, and honestly your entire mood, but finding one has usually ended in tears and multiple stores. I’m outside standard sizing as many are and this is my new favorite! Enter Carrie, the store manager and absolute miracle worker. She measured me, grabbed my perfect size on the first try, brought six great options! I’m an no nonsense shopper and in 15 minutes I walked out with three perfectly fitting bras. No pain, no drama, and I even wore one out because my old one was just hanging there at that point. Great store, incredible service, trauma-free bra shopping at last. Highly recommend!
• Anna is the best ! She is always super helpful and knowledgeable on the sizing and the current products in store. She helps me find exactly what i'm looking for at a fit you just can't beat. 10/10 recommend. Quality products at a fraction of the price of some other big lingerie companies out there.
