  • Today I went to lovers Lane to pick up a birthday gift. I haven’t been to lovers lane in about three years. Upon entering into the store, a gentleman name, Shango greeted me and made me feel welcome. He was genuine and professional. Shango assisted me with my needs and interests throughout the store. Thank you for your help and customer service because we don’t see customer service since COVID-19. This world is every man for his self now … no love anymore. I definitely will be returning to Lover’s Lane and look forward to doing business with you guys at the castleton location.
  • Worst location. Got a defective toy. Called the number did the support email. They took my information to pass on to management and heard nothing back. Worst customer service ever filing dispute w the bank. Been shopping w this company for over 10 years the Chicagoland locations are much better. Don't waste your money here go to cirillas instead.   • PLEASE READ AND TAKE CAUTION! Me and a friend went to this location on Sunday Feb.12th. As soon as we walked in, CONNER (a short caucasian male sales associate with glasses and brown hair) meet us right at the door and asked for our IDs. I did not think this was weird until I realized he ONLY asked us, no other customers entering the store. As we’re looking at products, Conner and the other sales associate (did not get her name) hovered over us the entire 30 minutes we were in the store. Every time we went to look or pick something up, Conner proceeded to tell us about the item, without us even asking. It was to the point we could not even shop in peace. The only time we were given space was when we were in the dressing room. Which I want to say the dressing rooms have notes posted saying that their employees are rewarded for catching shoplifters and they also use “secretive” cameras/ software to catch thieves. Again, when we exited the dressing room, we were followed. Up until we checked out. Even AFTER I checked out, I was waiting on my friend to get done so I was smelling the perfume. The female associate hovered over me. Despite there being 3-4other customers in the store. I was made to feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. We did not have big purses, clothes, or coats on. I have never experienced this treatment at the Greenwood location. And if you’re wondering, yes we are women of color. Based off how we were treated, and the fact that they have notes all over the store saying they have a reward system to catch thieves, I can’t help but think this was racial motivated. Of course the employees would say otherwise.
