- Tired of coming in here last two times I bought jewelry here just cuz I needed something temporary they want to lecture me on how to clean my body piercings and kept trying to pressure me to buy additional stuff they I had no interest in buying and I felt extremely judged. I don’t think I’ll go here anymore. Please stop judging people for how they clean their own jewelry. I’ve gone 10+ years with no problems thank you very much and I honestly trust a professional piercer more than a Spencer’s store employee.
- Today I went into the North Park Mall in Davenport IA Spencer’s, normally the employees are very welcoming and make me feel very comfortable which is a very important quality to have working at this type of store I feel. However the employee today that was working at around noon made me very uncomfortable. As my friend was at the checkout I saw someone who I would prefer not to run into at this store with the stuff I was buying, as much as I love this person I just prefer to keep some stuff private in my life, which I have every right to do. I whispered to my friend that this person was here as a sign I would like to leave. The person ringing her up loudly stated she could read lips, and was very rude. I assumed she heard what I whispered and took it as I was judging someone for coming there, obviously I was in no place to judge I was shopping there too? In no way was I judging, I simply just didn’t want to run into them, I didn’t appreciate how the employee reacted to a situation she simply had no knowledge of and it really threw me off and made me very uncomfortable. I will not being going to this Spencer’s anymore after this because of how uncomfortable a situation was that the employee decided to assume about.
- Bought nose piercings here and they were very rude about how I’ve been cleaning my healed nose piercings after I told them I didn’t want to buy the solution they sell there. Also they need to fix the way they sell there body jewelry, ended up buying the wrong side for the nose loops because they don’t have anything labels telling you and don’t have prices marked on the cases, so I feel very pressed in making my decision right away.
- Never had something bad to say until the last two days I came in and the same lady looked like she wanted to be in bed so bad just wiping her eyes not going to get something missing from the back that we were looking for the last 2 days that came in on truck and we know because another worker told us last week that it would be here Thursday. Never going back as long as I see she in there she don’t deserve no customers with that attitude
- The workers are very nice and informative! But, I’ve gotten a few different pieces of jewelry for my belly piercing. With all 4 pieces the top has been lost sometime during the day. This has happened when I’m either home or just running errands, and most recently it happened with my internally threaded piece. So, now I can’t wear that one because no other top will work with it. Very sad about it, and constantly having to replace it is annoying. I wouldn’t recommend belly jewelery from Spencer’s, but their earrings haven’t caused any problems.
