• There are no right amount of words of praise to say we had an absolutely amazing experience at the Savannah location. It started with the manager, Franando who greeted us and made sure we had a great experience. Our server, Natalie, WOW! Such a beautiful person inside and out and she is crushing life in all ways possible as a young lady! Natalie, you are amazing and will do amazing things so thank you for being YOU! Then if that all wasn’t enough….Dani, the owner, was there making our desserts and what a special treat that was for our group! Dani, you are such a humble and creative woman that I can’t give you enough praise for all your accomplishments and thank you for taking some time to personally come to our table! Thank you Dani, Natalie, Franando and the rest of the amazing staff for giving the 4 of us the VIP treatment! • I have to start this review off by first stating that I am definitely not a dessert person, my orders are typically a "steak and potatoes", appetizers, etc. We were referred here by a good friend and were told that it was definitely a "must try" while we were in Savanah. With that being said, I must say that Better Than Sex did not disappoint! I genuinely believe this has to be one of the best dessert restaurants that I have ever had the pleasure of dining at and I truly feel like this is a "must try" for anyone who is visiting Savanah and loves good food and even better experiences. The ambiance was dark and seductive, beautifully and artistically set up with intention and thought behind all of the decor, music and everything in-between. We ordered a couple of drinks to start off, Old 1-2 and Super Soaker, which were absolutely delicious. Our main order was a Missionary Crisp and 2 glasses of French Kiss, which I can say that I have never had anything come as close to heaven on earth as this dessert pairing. The entire experience from start to finish was exceptional and I personally think that the service from the staff is beyond compare. Our waitress Gigi was absolutely amazing and friendly, she provided some amazing dessert suggestions and wine pairings. The manager Fernando was so incredibly professional and had some amazing suggestions as well! Overall an extremely wonderful experience. I was so delighted with the food and our interactions with the staff, that I was compelled to make a reservation for a second visit the next night. We ordered the Man Flowers with an amazing wine pairing, Lickin Love, which Gigi and Fernando recommended, it was absolutely divine! And of course, we ended up ordering another glass of French Kiss to finish off the night! Once we were finished, we had a chance to meet with the owners, which was an extremely delightful conversation and experience! All in all, this is one of the best experiences I have ever had in all of my travels, between the amazing food and the even more impressive staff. If you're ever in Savanah, make an effort and put aside some time to visit this place, because you will not be disappointed!
• Fun experience. We happened to stumble upon this place and I am glad we decided to go in. The staff was welcoming right away, and the whole vibe was kind of campy but in an awesome way. The drinks were great and definitely one of the best espresso martinis we have ever had. Missionary crisp (the apple dessert) was delicious. And I thought everything was reasonably priced which is a welcome bonus. We will be back.
• Such a fun and sexy spot for an after dinner treat. The staff were friendly, funny, and definitely kept it on brand lol. The atmosphere was romantic. And the drinks & desserts were delicious! I got the virgin kiss drink and the popcorn pimp cheesecake, which was chef's kiss, but I definitely have to go back for the missionary crisp, which was recommended to pair with the virgin kiss. My husband had the goo goo drink and the between my red velvet sheets cheesecake, which he loved. They also had some questions on the tablet to "spark" interesting conversations, which was fun. Definitely will be back, maybe even to check out another location.
• We were in Savannah for a milestone birthday celebration and I really wanted to go somewhere special with my husband. There couldn’t have been a better place than “Better than sex” restaurant to experience something unique. We walked in and had no reservation but were instantly greeted by the staff. We were seated us immediately. As we entered the restaurant, we couldn’t help but fall in love with the ambience, the dim lights, the rosy curtains. It gives off such an amazing vibe it feels like a different world, so romantic and beautiful! The menu is very creative and the names of both the desserts and the drinks are impressive. We ordered the “Don’t be Chai” and “Honey Bunny” and both were simply delicious drinks. We also ordered the “Peanut butter perversion” for dessert and it was yummy! The service is fast and really good. Our server was really nice and had great recommendations. They also have plenty of non alcoholic options for those who don’t drink. Loved it here and will be back to try more. Perfect for date night but lovely idea for any type of group.
