- This place was my first stripclub experience EVER…and afterward I vowed to make better financial decisions based on my experience ever since. The girls here a super aggressive for your money, some of them will ignore you telling them "No, I don't wanna have a dance" I remember a girl took me to the back and charged me $1,000 for 10-15 mins and then without my consent invited her friend to join and said I had to pay double for her to join. Again I just wanted 1 dance from one person, who's this extra person you brought along?! 😂. The dancing was cool sure but I left that place way broker than I thought I would, and that $20 entry Fee is VERY real. There's a reason the most liked comments about this place are people telling horror stories about how predatory the atmosphere there is. Would NOT recommend going here or revisting. Have a good day. TLDR: Expensive and Predatory behavior towards guests. Don't go. 👎
- I decided to bring my friends to this club, but as it turned out, the manager at this club ruined the whole evening and ruined the first impression of his potential future clients. I've been there before and it wasn't as bad as it is now. GUYS I came to have a good time and spend money. I went out to smoke with a friend and we came back 3 minutes later. but the manager said that if you want to go back in, you have to pay another 20 dollars. (Although initially we had already paid $20 for entry each) this was already a bad backdrop for the evening. Afterwards, when we were at the stage and looking at the girl, the manager came and said that we had to leave the club because my friend was filming the girl on his phone, but he answered messages on his phone regarding questions about work. so we spent twice the entrance fee, I wanted to spend a lot more, just not all at once. but the manager just kicked us out.
- After paying the entrance fee, 2 mediocre dancers blocked my entrance to the stage area, insisting that nothing was going on, trying to bully me into a $120 2 girl private. I finally gave in to the pressure and regretted it. After, I stood up and pushed on inside, in spite of both of them continuing to try to block me. One of the girls peered into my wallet and kept following me, saying I had plenty of money for more dances. I walked ahead and saw a lot of girls, none on stage in spite of the club having been open already for a few hours. This was a Saturday night. Another girl blocked me when I tried to sit and attached herself like a leech. At this point I realized how miserable I was from the overwhelming pressure and lack of stage shows. I walked to the exit. It was blocked on both sides. I tilted the heavy block and stepped over it, and out to freedom. I've been to many strip clubs but had never felt trapped and so blatantly ripped off as I was here. Heed my warning and do not enter!
- Updated: It's been awhile since I've visited Pure Gold and while a lot has remained the same a lot of new girls have come to the club. However my old favorite is still here and looking better than ever. Yup you guessed it Paradise is still here. Now she works Wednesday – Sunday and she's been working hard on making her body look as good as it does. Other girls still here are Bree, Alma and a few more. Since I was here last they've added more dance rooms including a 30 minute room. They are currently not serving food but that's okay you don't go for the food you go to see the girls and spend money on them. I was extremely happy to see some of my old favorites and extremely happy to see Paradise still going strong. Ruby is now in retirement but don't let that stop you. Make sure you stop by and say hi to Paradise. She is sure to make your Pure Gold experience one of the finest you'll remember.
- Well this was an experience to say the least. 9/19/20 I was on a road trip and thought I would stop in on my way back home. My roommate had never been so I thought I would show him to his first time at a club. When walking in I was immediately addressed by three dancers telling me that the floor is boring and they want to show us around. They took us directly into the most expensive booth and tried to persuade us to spend $1500 for 40 minutes THIS IS NOT A JOKE. After obviously declining their ridiculous rate they took me away from my friend who was new to the scene and offered me x3 15 minute dances between 3 lady’s for $300. To that I accepted. The first dancer was awesome and then moved on… here’s where the story gets interesting. The second dancer- mid dance decided to pick up a phone call from her co worker who had evidently been robbed and then shot at in Modesto… the reason I know this is because I listened to the whole phone call while she was sitting on my lap. After getting off the phone she tried to continue the dance while venting about the phone call and how her boyfriend is going to be so upset that she’s going to go pick up her coworker. After the lights came on she was gone before I could say bye. I waited 20 minutes for the 3rd dancer that never came. Evidently the first dancer told the third dancer she did two 15 minute sessions therefor she didn’t have to dance (not true) after taking this up with management all I wanted was my money back for the third dance and to get the heck out of there. Which didn’t happen. The third dancer came back and was very apologetic about the experience and offered to Finnish the dance and disregard any miscommunication. Even though I had voiced my opinion that I just wanted to get out of there that was about all the middle ground we could come to by the end of the conversation. Overall I knew she meant well in the end and was doing her best to remedy the situation and for that I’m thankful. However I’ll be driving back down to Vegas in the coming weeks and this Sacramento strip club will not get any of my attention or money along the way. The club gets 1 Star and the 3rd dancer gets a star as well for trying her best to genuinely fix the problem.
