- I would give it 5 stars, except that I went with my service dog (on an unpopulated Monday night), and was promptly asked to leave by the manager, Mark (after the doorman didn’t know what to make of us). I inquired as to how they applied ADA laws, as my dog and I have even been approved by the FAA to fly aboard commercial aircraft (AND provided my FAA form), and was told that my dog needed to be wearing a bright “service dog” vest (which can be crafted or purchased in infinite ways). In case you didn’t know, ADA law asserts that service dogs do NOT need to be clearly labeled as such, and is something of a HIPAA violation to do so. The owner’s name is Jim, apparently, and I guess he couldn’t be contacted, so I was begrudgingly granted a seat in the back, which is all I ever asked for. I ordered and paid for 3 drinks at the bar (thanks, bartender Matt!) plus gratuity, of course. A couple of dancers AND a couple of fellow patrons came over to greet me and my super-sweet dog. The dancers were really lovely women, Jade and Minx, I believe. They assured me that they felt zero threat. Apparently, they’re “independent contractors”, as explained by management. PLEASE tip them very well when/if you attend! Apparently, the admittance issue arose from a previous patron (or patrons) who had brought in NON-service dogs, under the guise of being legit service dogs. I have to imagine that the law has been exploited before, as it has in air traffic, but that doesn’t set a precedent to ignore ADA laws. As a heterosexual woman patronizing a so-called “gentleman’s club”, I would have expected to be treated rather well instead of as an imposition. I have literally *never* fought so hard to be seen & included in any venue before. When I was able to eventually order a drink and sit down, I had fine time. I tipped a couple of the beautiful dancers nicely before I left (especially since they’re independent contractors). I’ll likely return….and hope that I don’t encounter the same discrimination. 🤞 I even suggested to management that they really shouldn’t ignore their female clientele (with or without a service dog). That’s some serious cash without sketchy games. Last I checked, businesses were in the business of making money. We’ll see what happens next time! **UPDATE: I returned a couple of days later with my adult daughter (and my service dog). Josh was the doorman and Clay was the manager that night. I experienced none of the weird vibes from my first visit. Good to know!
- For my first time ever at a strip club, I felt extremely uncomfortable; it was definitely not my kind of scene. A few of the dancers approached me and offered to give me a dance, but I politely declined. However, out of the blue, one of the dancers sat down and struck up a genuine conversation with me. Towards the end, she asked again if I wanted a dance, and I respectfully declined. She kindly said she'd check back later to see if I changed my mind. I sat there, nervously waiting and hoping she'd return, my mind drifting back to our conversation, which helped me ignore the overwhelming atmosphere around me. When she finally came back, I was still a bit apprehensive, so my friend encouraged her to approach me. She was incredibly kind and respectful, which made me feel much more at ease. If it weren’t for her, I don’t think I would have enjoyed my night at all. I’m truly grateful, so thank you! 🥰
- Yes … maybe Sonny's does give you that 'Dive Bar' vibe but trust me … everyone, and I mean everyone, is top notch and head and heels above other clubs in Phoenix area … from the bouncer keeping an eye on vehicles in the parking lot, to Lauren being so attentive behind the bar, to the dancers always doing their best to entertain … and especially to Hailey for making me feel like I was the only customer in the place … I have definately found my new favorite club and see myself spending s lot more time there
- Best club in the valley by far Hot girls, acceptable prices- many choices for dance options. it’s really the best option for a group especially because everybody can get exactly what they want. Great time- there isn’t another club that could fill the shoes and I will definitely be back
- Great atmosphere, Great staff, wide variety of girls…. all beautiful. I'd share my favorite but I don't want you to make her to busy for me….lol
