- Love this place! As an AMAB person (who also presents as male) interested in drag, shopping for women's clothing & accessories can be a bit intimidating. However, the owner was so nice and accommodating. He welcomed me into the store and made me feel comfortable. I didn't feel judged whatsoever. I really liked the fact that they have an AMAZING selection of heels, especially since I needed a size 12 in heels, and they had many options. Many people had recommended I go to Bondesque, but they did not have the selection that Venus has, and Venus's prices are also better. I'm so glad I saw Venus next door and decided to go in. I'd choose this store any day over Bondesque. Oh and in regards to people complaining about the parking, well, it's a small business off of lake street in uptown, so what do you expect? There's free parking on side streets nearby, otherwise look for a metered spot and go during a time of day with less traffic. I highly recommend this store!
