- The food was amazing. That staff was top notch and they had games you could play. Didn't stay for the live music, but they have live music regularly. The drinks were perfect.
- We ate lunch here a couple times last week. I had the tacos, which were the daily special; there was a lot of meat in them and the salsa was plenty spicy. My wife had a burger, which she liked a lot. There is a decent beer selection as well. The bartender refused to take our beer order when we stepped up to it, but we found a table and our waitress was extremely nice. The 2 time my wife had the chicken wings with Teriyaki. I tried one and thought it was okay, and she enjoyed them more than I did. They were plenty large. I had the Green Chile Cheeseburger. The grain of the patty was tight and looked like a preformed patty, and it was not juicy at all. The patty was cooked fine, with a little pink inside, and had decent flavor, but not great. The bun was basic and lightly toasted, and it held up. The cheese was American, and not melted. The green chile was fresh, but very mild tasting, and the flavor not very good. There was lettuce on the bottom bun; no condiments on the burger, but available on the table. The fries were thin, but not quite shoestring. They were from frozen, and were served warm.
- The beef nachos with a sub of green chilies was AMAZING and my husband liked the burger a LOT. We both have stomach problems and we had no issues with the food. Service was great. If you can't handle a dive bar, take your prissy a** somewhere else.
- I see a lot of criticisms on the reviews here. I’d like to give you my honest feedback on this. I personally had an excellent time, the waitress insured that my drink was full at all times and was checking up on me constantly. I love getting to listen to live music from local artists, even throughout this Covid pandemic they are surviving. The social distancing is still on point if anyone is concerned or worried about that. This is a heavy pour bar so if you like your liquor, then you are in luck. My one take away from this that would be negative, is that none of the food is fresh whatsoever and it’s all frozen. The burgers are only cooked well done which for me personally is a no go. However I did have the hatch chili burger and it honestly was quite phenomenal for a well done frozen patty. I am going to maintain a five star on this just due to customer service and quality of experience. I would recommend this and I hope that your experience will be the same as mine was.
- 3.5 stars. There’s not that many places open late in Ruidoso so if you’re looking to have some fun with friends after 9pm, you’re options are small. If you’re looking for some country dancing, kareoke, or just a place to have some beers this is one of your options. It’s usually pretty busy during the weekends especially if it’s tourist season. If country music ain’t your thing, they do have a jukebox (AMI) you can play music on and you can also download an app for it, similar to TouchTunes. This place is your typical local bar, it’s casual, nothing fancy. It has two pool tables, some arcade games, a patio, a dance floor and plenty of seating. They do have live music on certain days, check their Facebook page or other social media to get that info. They check for ID at the door at night. They do have a kitchen that serves food during the day.
